The Residences at New City

This 199-unit apartment tower stands tall in a relatively low-rise environment in west Lincoln Park and Near North Side area. The building was in fact designed as a parallelogram to optimize the building’s skyline views- 3 out of every 4 units has a piece of the gorgeous skyline view. The only other building in the area of similar stature is Sono House, who isn’t too happy with New City intruding on their views.

Regardless, New City was completed roughly two years ago to compete as a luxury apartment complex. So yes, it is stylish and yes, it does have all the amenities millennials “need” these days, including a 24-hour fitness center and doorman, a full internet café, a movie theater, dog runs, a conference/business center, and an outdoor deck with fire pits, a pool, hot tub, and a grill. In case that’s not enough, everything you could ever need is in your backyard, including the North and Clybourn Redline “L” stop.
